The first session will be L1 and will be in a traffic free situation on the Multi Use Games Area at King George V Playing Fields where we ensure participants have the skills needed to go on the road.  The other sessions take place on local quiet roads, looking at how to move in traffic and negotiate parked cars, side roads and junctions.

For the road sessions the ratio is two instructors to a maximum of 10 trainees and for all sessions we meet at Watford Cycle Hub, The Pavilion, Chaffinch Lane, WD18 9QD

The course will be led by National Standards Bikeability Instructors who work for Herts County Cycle Training Team.

The course will be continually assessed and at the end of the week those candidates who have achieved the National Standard will be awarded a L2 certificate and badge.
