Trishaw Rides for Watford Residents
We are delighted to be working with Watford Borough Council to provide trishaw rides for elderly and disabled residents of Watford in the town’s award-winning Cassiobury Park, and other green spaces in Watford.
The Trishaws, funded by the public health partnership between Hertfordshire County Council and Watford Borough Council, are intended to get more people more active, more often through cycling.
The Trishaws are manufactured and supplied by a company in Copenhagen, where the initiative ‘Cycling Without Age‘ started in 2012 and is now represented in 40 countries worldwide. The initiative, ‘The Right to Wind In Your Hair’ is supported globally by volunteers with the guiding principles of generosity, slowness, storytelling, relationships and without age restriction.
